#Hsmworks 5 axis software
At the end of the day, I still need to use the piece of software that most effeciently achieves my goal. I'd be incredibly pissed if they for some reason ended the SW product, but I can't actually say i'd blame them that much. I probably look at it different, not being the guy physically forking the money over. It wouldn't be easy but that would be the direction I would look first. I know of shops using NX and doing incredible work. NX is dramatically different but I'm a bright guy and change doesn't scare me. If I'm going to make a move it will be a move up.

I will not be switching to inventor, full stop, end of story. It certainly isn't being developed at the same pace as the Inventor product, so it's only a matter of time.Yep pragmatically I'd keep using HSM as long as I could. I still haven't been thrilled by what i've seen on the NX front. One way or another, there's a high likelihood that will shift to Inventor HSM within the next few years, even if it's just through superior integration with the CAD environment.

It's still MC, but using it inside the solidworks environment makes it much more tolerable than the standalone version. I've been using MC for SW for a couple months and have been pleasantly surprised fwiw.
